Eric Laufer is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer.
Eric has studied film scoring at Berklee College of Music and sound synthesis with the pioneers, including Max Mathews and John Chowning. Equally comfortable with traditional orchestras and the bleeps and bloops of electronic sound scapes, he strives to create new sounds, while keeping his feet planted in tradition.
He spent the better part of a decade touring with several bands, including Cadence and Elemental Harmonics, playing drum-set, percussion, keyboards and laptop. His performing background also includes playing drums and percussion in pit orchestras for the musicals Sidd and Greenwich Village Follies.
Eric produced the movies Magic Magic and Disobedience with his production company Braven Films.
In another life, Eric has a degree from Stanford in Aeronautical and Astronautical engineering and holds multiple patents on wind energy technologies. He lives in New York City where he chases after his wife and three daughters.
